Landscape Construction Project Manager
Position Overview
The Construction Project Manager oversees large-scale landscape construction projects from pre-construction through close-out, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with design intent. This role works closely with field teams, subcontractors, clients, and internal departments to deliver successful projects.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all phases of landscape construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and close-out.

Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and designers to ensure efficient execution.

Review plans, specifications, and contracts to define scope and identify risks.

Conduct regular site visits to verify quality, safety, and compliance with design documents.

Track project costs, schedules, change orders, and billing in coordination with accounting.

Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams, providing regular progress updates.

Support and enforce jobsite safety standards in coordination with the Safety Manager.
Desired Qualifications

5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in landscape or site construction.

Strong understanding of site work, hardscape, planting, and landscape construction sequencing.

Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).

Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, not required.
